We are a married couple living in Wiltshire and both currently work for the NHS.
Soon after we met in 2014 it became apparent that we both had a love of the outdoors and travel so combining the two we began our travels in Europe. Initially in a small tent with a basic kit such as a pan, a kettle and a single burner gas stove with a couple of plastic plates, mugs and a knife and fork each. In addition, we had a very leaky airbed and a couple of sleeping bags. In 2019 we splashed out and bought a third-hand folding camper by which time we had added to the basics mentioned above. We now have a 2021 Swift Challenger x835 so we have experienced the rough and now have the smooth but in all honesty, the enjoyment was as great in the beginning as it is now – no matter the change in our camping style.
On average we cross the channel three or four times a year and have visited The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, Luxemburg, Slovenia and Croatia as well as numerous short trips around the UK.
